A test carried out across 35 smaller format stores in April 2015 found that there was a 2.4% sales uplift on items advertised on Asda FM.
The study also found that there was a 1.2% sales uplift in total store sales in the stores using Asda FM versus the control stores.

The uplift in total sales implies that Asda FM affects customers’ price perception, leading to increased spend in store. Items advertised experience the largest uplift, although this is directional and varies by item.
